The 70" Enclosed Headache Rack is your ultimate enclosed storage solution. It's made from tough, lightweight ⅛" aluminum, making it incredibly durable without adding a significant amount of weight. Depth options of 8", 10", 18" or 24" depending on how much room you need. This rack's equipped with with stainless steel hinges, locking T-handles for security, and chain hangers in the left and right cabinets for easy access. The standard 68" height and up to 24" from the bottom of the foot to the bottom of the cabinet give you solid, reliable storage without being too big or too high. Want to customize it? No problem. Choose your door style, storage compartments, light bars, interior accessories, and more. It's a favourite with truckers because it's built to keep your gear safe and your rig looking clean.

As stated in the NSC Standard 10: Cargo Securement, Divsion 5 – Front End Structures – Application 23(3) A cab shield (Headache rack) is not a front end structure or part of a cargo securement system. Therefore NO D.O.T. requirements/approvals are applicable.

• Headache racks cannot meet the requirements of CFR 393.114.a. Cargo must be in contact with the front end structure for the CFR 393.114.a to apply.

Within Module 14 – Cargo Securement, it refers to requirements that are adopted from the National Safety Code (NSC) Standard 10, Cargo Securement, as the standard for securing loads in Ontario. Referenced in the subsection “Requirements for Securement Devices” it talks to Front End structures and that the rules concerning this topic are included in NSC Standard 10.

Typically, the Enclosed Headache Racks should be mounted with a 21” U-Bolt kit when able. 17” U-Bolts and quick mounts are available when a 21” U-Bolt is not compatible.

Iconic has the ability to make custom variations to their headache racks, including lights, custom shelving/drawer configurations, sizing, etc. While we do our best to accommodate most requests, there are occasionally limitations based on manufacturing processes and efficiencies.

Most standard enclosed racks include internal chain hangers in the left- and right-hand cabinets and various shelving configurations in the middle cabinet.

That depends on the rack you want. The 30 GAL hydraulic tank will fit with select standard Iconic enclosed racks. Custom enclosed racks can be equipped with hydraulic tanks, as long as space and manufacturing processes allow.
