As time rolls on, we see more and more cool semi truck headache racks leaving the shop. Some include hydraulic tanks, others are enclosed with roll-up doors, or stainless steel doors.

But, no matter how many racks we see pass through the shop, certain ones always stand out: Ones with a custom backlit text LED light bar.

Maybe it’s because each one is unique – having two headache racks go through the shop with the same text cut out is unlikely – or maybe it’s because it’s just a damn cool feature, but no matter the reason, they stand out! This one is no exception.

“Cyberdyne” is the name of the company that reached out to us about getting this custom headache rack made for their truck. I won’t go into too much detail about the rack here, because Jason does a great job of that in the two minute video below. Enjoy!

Cyberdyne Custom Rack/Tank Combo Features:

• 1/8 (.125″) thick marine-grade checkerplate aluminum body construction.
• Custom text backlit LED light bar, with the company name of “Cyberdyne” cut out. Backlit with red, waterproof LED lights.
• Jail bar window for vision out of the truck’s back window.
• Dual left and right side cabinets, with chain racks and chain well inside.
• Dual lower side boxes allow for easy access and storage from the ground, without having to climb up onto the truck deck.
• 50 Gallon hydraulic tank, with everything required for mounting: spring kits, u-bolts, and mounting tray.
• Lockable stainless steel t-handles.
• Stainless steel hinges.
