Practical, out of the way equipment and battery storage.

For those who are unfamiliar with what an inframe toolbox is, inframe toolboxes are toolboxes that sit behind the cab, and between (or “inside”) the frame rails of the semi truck frame. They are sometimes reffered to as frame boxes or between-the-frame toolboxes.

Whatever you call them, we build ours from the same 1/8″ (.125″) thick military/marine grade aluminum that out larger semi truck storage accessories are built from. This creates a set of inframe toolboxes that are strong, and built to last for miles upon miles of highway driving.

We offer three different inframe toolboxes. Two of them that we offer are for general equipment storage, and the third stores batteries. We’ll outline the features and benefits of each in this post.

1. The Notched Inframe Toolbox, P#1802

This inframe toolbox is our deepest general storage option. It features 13 inches of depth to help maximize your storage options, and a 5.5 inch high centre notch that runs the full length of the toolbox. This allows the toolbox to clear any additional frame or drive elements found on your truck, with the lower sides providing additional depth to store larger items.

This toolbox is perfect for storing DEF, tire chains, straps, or any other tools you need or items you can’t store in your cab for regulatory reasons.

Inframe Toolbox Features:

  • Our standard 1/8-inch smooth aluminum construction.
  • Automotive bulb seal for weather resistance
  • Flush top design
  • Checkerplate lid
  • Stainless steel slam latch
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel hinge
  • Easy 30-minute installation with the included frame clamping mounting kit

2. The Standard Inframe Toolbox, P#1801

This toolbox is a perfect alternative option for storing some of the smaller items or tools you need for day-to-day work, that still may include items such as DEF, tire chains, straps, or any other tools you need or items you can’t store in your cab for regulatory reasons.
